Overview Calendar & Events Task Management Time Tracking Schedule Reports Tips & Best PracticesOverview
The Time module is your command center for everything time-related. It combines a smart calendar, a task manager, and a built-in time tracker — all in one view so you spend less time switching tools and more time getting things done.
Calendar & Events
The calendar displays your day, week, and month views. To add an event:
- Tap a time slot on the calendar grid, or press the + button.
- Enter an event title, start time, end time, and optional notes.
- Choose a color label to categorize the event (work, personal, health, etc.).
- Tap Save — the event syncs instantly across all your devices.
Tip: Long-press any event to drag and reschedule it directly on the calendar grid.
Task Management
Tasks live alongside your calendar so due dates are always in context. Each task supports:
- Priority levels — High, Medium, Low with color coding.
- Due dates — Tasks with due dates appear on your calendar automatically.
- Subtasks — Break big tasks into actionable steps stored as JSONB.
- Notes — Add context or links to any task.
Time Tracking
The built-in timer lets you track exactly how long you spend on any task or project:
- Open a task and tap the Start Timer button.
- A floating timer banner appears at the top of every screen so it's always visible.
- Tap Stop when you're done — the elapsed time is logged to that task.
- Review total time per task in the weekly schedule allocation chart.
The floating focus timer also works with the Energy module's Pomodoro sessions — both share the same persistent banner so you never have two timers competing.
Schedule Reports
Head to Time → Reports to see how you actually spent your week:
- Schedule allocation chart — Pie/bar breakdown of time by category.
- Daily totals — Hours logged per day over the past 7 or 30 days.
- Top tasks — Which tasks consumed the most time.
Tips & Best Practices
- Start each morning by reviewing your calendar and setting 1–3 priority tasks.
- Use color labels consistently — e.g. green for deep work, blue for meetings.
- Run the weekly report every Sunday to identify where your time actually goes vs. where you planned it to go.
- Pair time blocking on the calendar with the Energy module's Pomodoro timer for maximum focus.
